Painted in Photoshop from scanned 11"X14" drawing.
Used my 9"X12" Drawing Tablet
No Reference.

This was my first finished digital painting. And i can remember the first time i made tiny doodle of this character, I have also turned her into a 3d model, using 3ds Max. I love her.

Nice! Not bad for being your first digital painting.

Next time you might want to look up on some references, both for the anatomy and the furniture. Having the right references can improve your work a lot!

I like her somewhat thoughtful and waiting expression. It's a simple portrait, but there's many stories to find in it.

A nice first digital painting. Proportions as mentioned. Her hair also appears to be pointing oddly. Areas below elbow and to the right appear muddy looking. Play around by adding some light in. I too like the color scheme, as well as the underlying traces of the sketch.

I wouldn't change a thing. The colours are nice, the anatomy and composition is good with the odd angles of the legs and furniture, you did that well as it looks intentional. It's a great piece and shows that you have your own original style
